Gophers (Junior Counselors)

Gophers: Junior Counselors

Good Times offers a special program to certain campers born between 2002 and 2004. This program helps transition eager teen campers into responsible adults. Gophers are assistants and help out with the day to day duties. Veteran Gophers may someday become a "Good Times" counselor! Many of our counselors were at one time Good Times’ campers / Gophers themselves.

Top Ten

Top 10 Reasons to Choose Good Times

1. Safety

We keep you campers safe while they have the best summer of their lives!

For Example: Each camper is required to pass a swimming assessment in order to swim without a life jacket. All campers that do not pass are required to swim with life jackets and swim with their assigned counselor.

All Good Times counselors are trained in CPR and first aid.

Ratios are kept low by having multiple counselors per group.

About Us

About Good Times

Good Times Day Camp has been family owned and operated since 1979.
Good Times Day Camp will be enrolling children ages 4½ through 14 in its 38th annual summer day camp. Camp will run 8 weeks from June 19 – August 11.

Lunch

Lunch

On most Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, Good Times will take a break from our activities and enjoy a picnic style lunch. Parents pack a brown bag lunch that your camper will enjoy at a picnic table or under a shady tree. Don’t worry about warm temperatures; we keep all the lunches fresh in coolers. Occasionally, a pizza and soda lunch is included with a special field trip.

Sports

Sports of all Sorts

Whenever Good Times is not splashing in the pool or off on an exciting field trip, there are games being played!

Counselors gather up campers and the competition begins. From all the classic sports to the ones dreamed up by creative counselors and campers, there’s something for everyone!
