COUNSELORS
To make it all happen at Good Times, it takes very special people - People who cannot wait to welcome every camper with arms open wide and smiles so big that it makes their cheeks hurt! This happens every summer because we nurture our staff just like we nurture our campers.
There's no question that there is a direct correlation between the quality of our staff and the quality of the experience for the campers. It's imperative that we hire the best people we can. Good Times has an excellent staff to camper ratio so that we can sufficiently help campers navigate their way through the day and closely assist them in fostering friendships with their peers. We only employ counselors with college level experience who demonstrate a high degree of responsibility and outstanding enthusiasm for all of the campers.We conduct an intensive staff orientation and continue to train the staff vigorously throughout the camp season.
Many of our counselors return year after year which adds greater stability and continuity to our programs. The counselors also build lasting friendships with each other, the campers, and the campers' families.
